Today we did some prep work for some house projects, but we didn't work on any actual projects. We took an intentional break to do something family oriented.
We grabbed BBQ to go and drove out to Kennedy Space Center. They were launching the first non-government rocket to dock at the ISS. AJ was excited about this, so we went. It was fun to take Drew to first launch.
The launch was different than the shuttles. It wasn't as bright in the sky, much faster, and still fairly loud. It still makes me sad Drew will never see a shuttle launch, but I am glad we live close enough that we can take him to see whatever comes along next.
